As a 9Solutions customer, you have a modern, secure system at your disposal. In order to support you in the changed global environment, we have compiled information about the operation of our system in the event of electricity distribution disturbances. 9Solutions system is a cloud-based service. The electrical systems of the server centers are designed so that power outages or maintenance work do not affect their operation. Server centers have backup power sources that ensure the availability of power and maintaining operations in the event of a power outage.
9Solutions system is in no way dependent on the company’s head office or other offices. If you have any questions about the details of your own system, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Below is a general description of 9Solutions systems. The customer must always ensure that the operation of other systems and devices, e.g. telecommunications connections are properly secured in case of power outages
Hospital installations are based on a radio technology network, the infrastructure of which consists of CCU and Node device installations. Hospital installations are usually equipped with the product “HACCU authentication gateway”, where Safe Mode is activated when the connection to the 9Solutions service is interrupted e.g. due to a power outage.
Care home installations are based on a radio technology network, the infrastructure of which consists of either CCU and Node devices or care phone devices. It is possible to choose battery backup for the devices during installation, in which case the device’s radio technology network will be maintained as long as the battery is sufficient. In this case, the staff’s and patients’ safety buttons transmit emergency and help calls normally. Any additional battery-powered devices also transmit alarms and information normally.
The infrastructure of home care installations consists of a voice communication device, a safety button and possibly locally installed sensors. Communication devices have battery backup. The resident’s safety button, the alarms emanating from it and the transmission of alarms to the alarm center work normally as long as the voice communication devices have enough battery. Local sensors, such as door sensors and exit control sensors, are battery-driven and continue to operate normally even in a situation where the power supply is interrupted. When the electricity supply is restored, the system continues to operate normally, and separate re-boots are not needed unless the device has run out of battery.
