Accurate and continuous locating

The 9Solutions locating personal safety solution quickly forwards accurate locating information from an alarm, enabling rapid reaction to the help request. With continuous locating, you can also monitor where the person is moving in an assault situation, so that the person requesting help can always be found quickly in an emergency.

Fixed and wireless safety buttons

An unlimited number of fixed and wireless safety buttons can be added to the system for sending a silent assistance call or alarm with locating information in an assault situation. Wireless safety buttons are always carried by people and can be used also outdoors, where accurate locating information is forwarded from the GPS locating of the phone.

Efficient communication and alarm management

Alarms can be routed to specified recipients either to the Smooth Lite mobile application or to a pop-up alarm window on a workstation.
Live video from the alarm location can also be streamed to a smartphone, which gives the helper an immediate overview of an assault situation, for example, or enables clearing unnecessary alarms remotely, if necessary.

The location of the help requestor is displayed directly in the request message and on the map. Alarms can also be routed to door lights, corridor displays and, if necessary, to external systems and call centres.

The same safety button with all its features can also be used outdoors. The safety button uses the GPS functionality of the user’s mobile phone for locating. Locating information derived through a mobile phone is always more accurate than what a separate wristband can provide, and furthermore there’s no need to charge a separate wristband daily.

Access control and escape door control

The solution can be used for monitoring and defining area- and user-specific access rights and controlling escape door locks on the basis of locating information.

Works also in problem situations

The cloud-based background system requires no local servers and can be managed remotely regardless of time and place. System operation has also been secured in case of potential Internet or server problems, and the system operates quite independently, if necessary.
